CBC Article about the merger

The Sudbury, North Bay, Timmins and Muskoka chapters of Habitat for Humanity have merged...

The national charity brings volunteers together to build homes for families who can't afford to purchase their own. The families are required to put in so-call 'sweat equity' hours during the home build and they pay a mortgage that is geared to their income.

The Sudbury, North Bay and Timmins branches of Habitat for Humanity have pooled their resources with groups in Muskoka. A new regional organization has been created called Habitat for Humanity Ontario Gateway North.
