Daily Log for January 11, 2012

Who was on site
Larry, Doug, Roy, Emily, Peter, and Vince (Project Manager), Jack lino installer
What Happened
We received our doors yesterday and Larry jumped right in to hanging them.
The stairs were prepped for paint in preparation for the carpet runner.
Roy painted more window frames and Emily had a lesson in door painting.
Jack the lino installer came and installed the lino in the front hall and bathroom.
What next
The HRV units will be delivered this week the flooring guy is planned for first thing next week After the Lino goes down we can install bath vanities and toilets (good bye cold seat).
Still Needed
The closet shelves may be covered in the Home Depot grant. The attic access holes need to be finished. We also need to get toilets and bath room sinks and the light fixtures.
Volunteers
Many people have come together to keep this project moving forward, many thanks to you all. Some more people in the finish carpentry area would be helpful.

Further down the road
The Kitchens will be checked on as they are in full swing. Bathroom vanities are complete and on site The kitchen guys are going to install the counter tops upon arrival. We should be complete in the coming weeks.

Materials/Tools
All tools required are on site.

Food and Drink
As per schedule.
Many thanx to our food teams, especially to Mary Grey of Gravenhurst who continues to go beyond all expectations.
Inspections
We will be requesting our occupancy permits in the next two weeks or so. Final inspection will not be until spring, as the gas trench’s were just done pre-Christmas, which meant we could not finish our final driveway grading.
