Who Was On-Site?

What Happened?


Jason and Sean from Gravenhurst Plumbing were on Site doing the plumbing rough-in.
Don Taylor from Greenside Electric stopped by. All is ready. Congratulations, Don, on being appointed to the Executive Board of HFHM!
We installed more of the Housewrap on the main floor, and strapped out the walls, and installed some
SM Foam along the way. All in all a great day.
Bill Gee of Great Northern Insulation called me back today. We had been discussing whether or not his
suppliers, BASF, would donate the spray foam insulation. They will.

What Next?
Muskoka Air Systems will be installing the HVAC Systems.
Greenside Electric will be doing the electrical rough-in on September 23.
Gravenhurst Plumbing will be doing the plumbing rough-in on September 19.
Muskoka Windows and Doors and Anderson Windows will be installing the windows and doors on
September 24.
Great Northern Insulation will be donating the Spray Foam Insulation for the walls, along with the labour to install it. They will also be donating the labour to install the Roxall Insulation in the fire-separation wall, and the Blown-in Insulation in the attic (that insulation being supplied through Gift In Kind).
Many thanks to John Smith of Carpet One in Bracebridge for agreeing to donate the carpet.

Volunteers
Tuesday, September 20 – 6-8 Volunteers needed. The day’s work will involve using rakes and shovels
and brooms, mitre saw, hammers and nails, skill saw and chisel.
Wednesday, September 21 – 6-8 Volunteers needed. The day’s work will involve using rakes and shovels and brooms, mitre saw, hammers and nails, skill saw and chisel.
Thursday, September 22 – 6-8 Volunteers needed. The day’s work will involve using rakes and shovels
and brooms, mitre saw, hammers and nails, skill saw and chisel.
Friday, September 23 –2 Volunteers needed to assist the electricians and do site clean up
Saturday, September 24 –2-4 Volunteers needed to assist the window and door installers and do site
clean up.

Food and Drink
Many thanks to Tastebuds of Gravenhurst for providing us with their delicious coffee and date
squares. Many thanks to HFHM for providing us with a tasty lunch.

My Thoughts
We are rockin’ & rollin’! The Building Envelope will be closed up before anything even resembling nasty weather hits the area.
