Silliness; gaskets and plates

Who Was On-Site?

What Happened?
We got the sill gasket and the sill plates on, and we got rained out. Thanks to everybody for showing up
and making a good start on the walls.

What Next?
Monday, July25 – Friday, July 29
The framing of the floor joist system should be underway and finished by Friday, July 29.
Monday, August 1 – Friday, August 5
Framing of the main structure.  Jesse Campbell of Jesse Campbell Construction has volunteered to bring
in his crew and install the truss roof system
Monday, August 8 – Friday, August 12
Gravenhurst Plumbing and Greenside Electric will do the plumbing, electrical and heating rough-ins.
Bill Gee of Great Northern Insulation has volunteered to provide us the labour to install the insulation
which we will provide. He will also provide the truck to blow in the attack insulation once the drywall is
installed.

Food and Drink
Many thanks to the Catholic Women's League ladies of Saint Paul’s Parish in Gravenhurst for providing us with a most excellent lunch on Friday.

My Thoughts
We have a plan in place to fix the bowed wall. It will require some re-bar and some concrete and a short,
but hard, day’s work from our many willing and generous Volunteers. Once again, thanks to all for their hard work and willingness.
