Habitat for Humanity Ontario Gateway North is a non-profit, multifaith-based housing program. Habitat invites people from the broad spectrum of social, ethnic, religious and economic backgrounds to work in partnership to build homes and hope with families in need.
The Sudbury, North Bay and Timmins branches of Habitat for Humanity have pooled their resources with groups in Muskoka. A new regional organization has been created called Habitat for Humanity Ontario Gateway North.

MIKE CONTINUED MUDDING 1014. COMPLETION POSSIBLY THIS WEEKEND.
TONI AND PAT STARTED PAINTING BEDROOMS IN 1014.
JIM AND DOUG CONTINUED INSTALLING TRIM.
NAN, AS USUAL, WAS IN AND OUT PROVIDING SUPPORT, COFFEE, LUNCH SCHEDULING, INSPIRATION AND ADVICE.
ALL ABLE BODIES CARRIED BUCKETS OF CEMENT UP TO MAIN FLOOR, DOWN TO BASEMENT TO FILL FOOTINGS IN BOTH HOUSES. THIS IS A MAJOR ACCOMPLISHMENT!!!!!
PORCH CONCRETE WAS POURED AND FINISHED BY STEVE AND VOLUNTEERS.
FURNACE TANK AND PIPE INSTALLATION WAS COMPLETED IN BOTH UNITS BY STEVE AND BILL FROM BUTTLER. WE NOW HAVE FURNACE CERTIFICATION (I HAVE THE DOCUMENTS) AND READY FOR TANK FILL.
INSTALLED BOOTS ON SEWER VENT PIPES FOR BOTH UNITS.
THE WORK TODAY WAS A HUGE SUCCESS WITH A GREAT EFFORT BY ALL!!! NEXT:
CONTINUE PAINTING TRIM IN 1014A.
PAINT PRIMER AND COLOR COATS IN 1014 WHERE DRYWALL SANDING IS COMPLETE.
FILLING AND TOUCH UP INSTALLED TRIM IN 1014A.
