Luck for all

Volunteers:  Nan & Brian Got us going in the morning. Bill Niess, Doug Patterson, Ted Daglish  Brian Juniper, Toni Green, Mike Robbin, Peter Hemming, Ross LeMonnier (one of My Crew leaders from Mississauga Habitat) , Tom Neville, & Santa Claus ( aka Bob McTavish )

Contractors: Bob Dukes of  ABC Drywall & Painting ( 762-2584) dropped in to find out when he can start the Drywall I told him I hope to start in one week.

Visitors: Howard came in. Paul from Dupont Tyvek dropped in to say hello. Louis H. Parson came by.

Daily Log: At first I thought we were in for a cool and  wet and rainy day and then I remember we have Windows & Doors thanks to Muskoka Windows and Doors. Then Santa showed up. We had a great group again today.

We started with a drywall demonstration then set to work on Fire blocking Doug Patterson and Ted Daglish scooted up the ladders all in harnesses and tethered while Tony & Santa watched from below with drywall  tee square exacto knife and a piece of Drywall ready to cut to size. Before we knew it the day was done with the task 3/4 done. Ross and Tom worked on the beam from Below. Peter & Brian  did the attic hatches.
All kidding aside. It was a was a great day thanks for all your hard work.

Next Day / Week Plan: Build frame for knee wall in basements Finish Tyveking  and foam  on upper part of peek walls . 2 pieces of concrete left to do.  Then onto insulation and dry wall. Additional framing for the roof that was missed. fire blocking in basement and roof peek.( Will be done tomorrow)

Elves in the p.m.  6-9:30

Volunteer Requirements:
lots of projects for Volunteers.

Materials / Tools : need Hammer drill and more drills for installation of framing for knee wall, concrete board, drills for drywall.

Inspections: shooting for Wednesday or Thursday of next week.
