If 2's company and 3's a crowd, then 17's a mob!

Construction Daily Log, Patty Parsons Build – If two's company and three's a crowd, then seventeen's a mob!

Date: September 29, 2010

Rob Abbott reporting

On Site:
Site Supervisor: Frank Fraser

Volunteers: Except for perhaps the block laying party, I think we set a record for numbers today. While people came and went at different times, for most of the day we peaked at 17: Rob, Brian J, Tom-10, Jim P, and Mikes: R. and B, Jack, Carolyn (who's name I missed yesterday), Roberta, Sandy SuperNan, Willy F., Paul D, Doug, and a pair of Peters: H and C.
Contractors: None
Visitors: None

Daily Log: With 34 hands, you would have thought there would have been some for the devil, but no, they were all kept busy. The vapour barrier got done in both units, wall insulation started, exterior SM board done on all but the front gable, and the phone and TV cables got run for 1014. I left at about 2:30 with 600 lbs of debris for the dump, so I don't know what time things wrapped up.
Action/Follow-Up Items:

  • Get HPN to finish rough-in plumbing

  • Get someone else to advise on chimney stacks (I've got a call into Stevenson's)

  • Get contractor to do front eave detail. (Ed V. Was supposed to drop by).

  • Get Corey to move electrical for 1014A Bathroom

  • Check on door swing for 1014A bathroom – Rob
